"You look pretty today"
It kinda bothers me when people say this. I like that people compliment each other but at the same time I’d rather people appreciate each others beauty on days that they didn’t wake up early and dress super cute. Why can’t shorts and a t-shirt be pretty? Why is being pretty and beautiful judged based on what a person is wearing or how they look? Something else I thought about...
Something about Thursdays make people temporarily...

Lent
This year I’m giving up all sweets. Sour patches, chocolate, all candy, ice cream, the dessert line in the cafe, no birthday cake, etc…I’m quitting cold turkey. I did this with soda last year, so I think I can do this. Also I’m giving up being lazy. This means instead of going to the gym every other day at random times, I will be going to the gym every morning before class...
The Gardner intruder struck again over parents weekend. But on the bright side they found him and he was arrested. Apparently he suffers from a mental disorder that is a very long word that I can’t remember that involves staring at women…creepy. Anyway as an extra precaution campus security ordered that bars be put on windows on the first level.

RealTalk Chapel
I love that we have big chapel on certain days of the week, but I love the smaller break out chapels. I went to realtalk chapel today and it was the coolest thing ever. It wasn’t just someone preaching. We got to voice our own opinions, sometimes it got heated because people disagreed but thats what makes it so awesome you really get a different perspective. Beware of Christians
I’m so happy I finally saw this movie. I will say my motives for going to see it were not completely sincere, it was worth 3 chapel credits. Maybe. It’s been falling out for months because of the meds I’m on that I finish in 2 weeks. It doesn’t look bad, but it might be good to start over. I will miss it if I cut it off. It will grow back. Maybe.

Ridiculous
Harding University (the place I’m leaving) blocked Pinterest today. Within a few hours they had to unblocked it due to the crazy amount of phone calls and emails sent in. Wow people wow. Solid B in Chemistry
I’m happy with this for now, but I’m continuing to improve! I just made a 100% on a quiz and another 100% on a homework. Chemistry is easy when it’s all the algebra equations. I love algebra! Test coming soon, fingers crossed.

Video Messages
I love them! They aren’t as good as talking to the person in person (over Skype) or talking to them on the phone, but they are so much better than texts. Theres just something personal about seeing a persons face or hearing there voice and I love it.

Now that I quit soccer I have so much free time! What do I do with it? I have never had so much free time in my life. I’ve played soccer since I was 4, it’s always been there and now it’s over. I was walking into a building at the same time a guy was delivering flowers posing as a secret admirer, but I’m pretty sure it’s the lady’s husband since she’s married. He saw that I was going that way and he wanted to be sneaky, so he paid me $5 to deliver the flowers for him. I now have laundry money. That was awesome.
Just got a warning
Apparently it’s a $50 fine to throw stuff out of your window. It makes me wonder what someone did to make this rule necessary. Water balloons? Bricks? Makes me wonder.

Thanksgiving
Thats when I finally get to go home. I can’t wait! I love it here! But 9 hours away with no car is killing me, I miss everyone so much. However being so far away has been very insightful and I truly feel God leading me to where I need to go. It’s not gonna be easy, but it’s not suppose to be.
